So this just happened.
So I was just running a new save just regrabbing all journal logs while waiting for the DLC, and I was doing the Dark Bramble seed on Timber Hearth part, and I threw my scout in and looked at the map with TAB and Instead of showing the scout in Dark Bramble on the map it shows the Scout being located in an enormous black sphere that's situated a ways off "underneath" the Sun.

I managed to fly around that object and kinda recreated the Echoes of the Eye trailer, as the object does eclipse the sun. It appears I cannot accelerate towards the object : past a certain point, thrusting towards it just appears to do nothing. I suspect it's just some weird bug.

Still, it's extremely funny and also a little spooky, because there hasn't been any update and it's the first time I see this. This being so close to DLC release increases the eerie feeling of it.

I just did they as well and found it the same way. Though I'm going to guess this is a bug since if you recall the scout it goes away. I tried to take a picture of with the scout. (picture of it out the first time was in Dark Bramble)

Did you manage to screenshot it?

I did the same way and uploaded the screenshot. Is it a bug that exists when this game released ?or newly added as a clue of new DLC?

it's nothing new. that's just where the maps for the inside of Dark Bramble are loaded

The interior of Dark Bramble is located a long way "underneath" the star system. When you enter each chamber, you're effectively teleported to these locations. They put Dark Bramble down there because they needed to put all the interior space somewhere (and it may as well be there). Under normal conditions, you're never supposed to notice.

This was discovered way back when the game first came out.

Yeah, kind of expected that to be the case!

Looking at Monphy's screenshot, that looks like the creepy bug I ran back into last year. I don't recall if I shot my scout into the bramble seed, but as I was leaving Timber Hearth, I noticed that I was heading towards black nothingness. It really freaked me out because it kept getting bigger and bigger.

Who knows though? Perhaps it wasn't a bug, and the team intentionally put in this with the plan to announce DLC in the future. *shrugs*
