You're done with the quantum imagery because you took a picture of the moon in order to land on it. After that, you use quantum entanglement to move with the moon to the 6th location, which also needs to be at the north pole.
You need to bring that tower to one of the other 5 locations, exit the tower, and let the tower move itself by looking away until it lands at the north pole of one of the other 5 locations. Then, you go back inside, turn out the lights and exit once you're at the 6th location and if you're on the north pole the big moon rock will be gone and you can leave the tower.
Specifically, it will only travel when you're not looking at it. At all. Which means no light. Flashlight off, shrine door closed.
Keep jumping the moon around until you can get the shrine to appear at the south (north?) pole.
Then jump it one more time. You should end up at the sixth location.
People often get confused at this - the writing isn't reading your mind and won't update based on your progress, it's just stating that to get that far you HAD to have known the Imaging rule, and from this point on you need to recall the other two rules
You will need all 3 rules to figure out the puzzle, they are all learned separately in whatever order you find them, but without all 3 you're not going to be able to get any further on the moon itself
To clarify: The rule of the 6th location IS that the shrine must be on the North Pole, that is the rule in its entirety
To answer with a question: When do quantum shards change location?
Assuming you know the 2nd rule already... When you hop planets while inside the shrine, you travel with it / it travels with you, and you end up at the exact same relative position on the moon when you turn the lights back on. This is either a game puzzle mechanic concession, or there might be a lore explanation for it. Because when you're outside of the shrine, it will jump around all over the place.
To solve the quantum moon, you have to realize that the various forms have varying layouts. Specifically, there is one 'wall' on each of them that splits the globe into two disconnected parts. HT, TH and BH have a wall around the south pole, GD and DB have a wall around the north pole. You have to progress from south to north by using the shrine to jump past these walls by walking those parts on planets where that wall does not exist in that spot.
Ahhh that makes so much more sense.. I didn’t realise you needed to know the rule of quantum entanglement to learn the 3rd tule (I didn’t realise there was an order to the rules at all) thanks so much though it think it makes sense now....
