3 Quantum Rules | Help Desperately Needed
Ok, so here’s the deal. I have ‘recalled’ the rule of quantum imagery. I know how to land on the quantum moon and I know how to warp the quantum moon. I keep on trying to look up how to ‘recall the rule of the 6th location’ but none of them seem to help. All of them tell me how I can reach the north of the 6th location, but not how to learn the actual rule. I have read both scrolls in the tower from brittle hollow, but apparently I still haven’t ‘learnt’ the rule. Idk why this is, and idk how to learn the rule. Also all the guides on the internet are from 2019. Any help (I don’t want hints, I want answers) would be much appreciated cause this is frustrating me now. And I haven’t even started on the rule of quantum entanglement yet.

I hope you’re all well in these hard times,
Thanks.

The rules aren't a mandatory checklist per say, just vague instructions on how to progress. I imagine you're stuck inside the little temple on the quantum moon?

You're done with the quantum imagery because you took a picture of the moon in order to land on it. After that, you use quantum entanglement to move with the moon to the 6th location, which also needs to be at the north pole.

You need to bring that tower to one of the other 5 locations, exit the tower, and let the tower move itself by looking away until it lands at the north pole of one of the other 5 locations. Then, you go back inside, turn out the lights and exit once you're at the 6th location and if you're on the north pole the big moon rock will be gone and you can leave the tower.
The rule of the sixth location is that the moon can travel into orbit around six different bodies.
Specifically, it will only travel when you're not looking at it. At all. Which means no light. Flashlight off, shrine door closed.
Keep jumping the moon around until you can get the shrine to appear at the south (north?) pole.
Then jump it one more time. You should end up at the sixth location.

People often get confused at this - the writing isn't reading your mind and won't update based on your progress, it's just stating that to get that far you HAD to have known the Imaging rule, and from this point on you need to recall the other two rules

You will need all 3 rules to figure out the puzzle, they are all learned separately in whatever order you find them, but without all 3 you're not going to be able to get any further on the moon itself

To clarify: The rule of the 6th location IS that the shrine must be on the North Pole, that is the rule in its entirety
Thank you for your help so far... so, does the tower itself change location on the quantum moon every time the moon changes location?

To answer with a question: When do quantum shards change location?
The 2nd rule, the rule of quantum entanglement, is a requirement and a prerequisite for solving the quantum moon. The 3rd rule, which you are trying to apply, does not make sense if you don't know the 2nd rule and how to execute it to work towards the 3rd rule. The 2nd rule is obtained at the end of the 'cave at the very bottom of the ember twin north pole lakebed'.

Assuming you know the 2nd rule already... When you hop planets while inside the shrine, you travel with it / it travels with you, and you end up at the exact same relative position on the moon when you turn the lights back on. This is either a game puzzle mechanic concession, or there might be a lore explanation for it. Because when you're outside of the shrine, it will jump around all over the place.

To solve the quantum moon, you have to realize that the various forms have varying layouts. Specifically, there is one 'wall' on each of them that splits the globe into two disconnected parts. HT, TH and BH have a wall around the south pole, GD and DB have a wall around the north pole. You have to progress from south to north by using the shrine to jump past these walls by walking those parts on planets where that wall does not exist in that spot.

Ahhh that makes so much more sense.. I didn’t realise you needed to know the rule of quantum entanglement to learn the 3rd tule (I didn’t realise there was an order to the rules at all) thanks so much though it think it makes sense now....

You don't need to learn them in any specific order, you just need all 3 to go on your very own Quantum Pilgrimage.. I've seen people work out rules 1 and 2 just through trial and error though!
