Getting through the Anglerfish? (spoilers)

I am really struggling to get past the fish, the first one is okay but getting into the room with the 3 fish seems impossible, turning on the engine even slightly brings them to me, but I knew this as I discovered the statue through the Stepping Stone Cave. How do you get past these fish. It doesn't help I am pants ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ terrified of this area, so after a few attempts I have to turn the game of to calm down. How do you get past this area? Is there knowledge im missing?

I too have the same problem. Getting past those 3 fish is impossible.

I'm playing this game on PC and I heard lot of people suggesting analog controller. They say those are useful in controlling the thrust power.

With my keyboard they thrust is only 100% or 0% I'm unable to control it.

If someone with a pc has solved this problem. Please help.

For the area with 3 fish (red light), thrust hard before you enter the area and drift past them. Do not touch any controls until you reach the centre where the eggs are. It should then be safe to kill your momentum, line up with wherever you want to go, thrust hard for a couple of seconds and yet again slowly drift without touching any controls until you reach your destination.

When teleporting into the area, your ship velocity is set to a specific number. You could slam into that seed at 9000m/s and you would be spat out into the new area at the slow drifting velocity instantly. I don't wanna completely spoil the solution for you, but just remember Angler's are completely blind and have excellent hearing. You can reorient your ship, but using the larger thrusters to actually move it in any direction is loud enough for Anglers to hear at even a far distance. If you can hear an Angler breathing, it's close enough to hear your movement thrusters on ship or suit.

Using keyboard does mean your thrust is 0 or 100 but as long as you're not near them that's okay, analogue does make this easier but I've played on KB/M for the whole game just fine

Line up with the entrance and slam in at full speed, the second you start to transition into the new zone, let go and coast through them, it's terrifying but pretty easy once you know the trick.

If you mess up and they come for you, a last-ditch effort is to quickly point your ship past them and hit eject (free-look if you're not sure where the eject button is!). Sacrificing your ship but they'll go for the where the noise came from and you'll silently zoom off!

By the time you reach the eggs, or you can barely hear the anglerfish grunts, it should be safe to maneuver and aim for your real goal. If you tap boost and you hear a "mmmmrr?" that means one can still hear you a little and is slowly on his way. You can also hide behind the eggs and vines if you do alert any, they can't get through them

The way I did it: I entered the last egg extremely slowly and as I saw the transition happen (you start seeing the outline of the first fish and the waypoint moves slightly), I stopped immediately. I went a couple of meters back to get some as much space between me and the fish as possible. I reoriented myself to go exactly between the "bulb" and teeth of the first fish, as if going into the red light. I applied throttle for a VERY BRIEF period of time, just enough to get me moving slowly and glide just through/past them. Once I was far enough from them, I hit the gas and reached the vessel without problems.

You don't need to use your thrusters at all for the three fishes, minimum speed is fine. The trick is rotating the ship so you go through the head and the light. Once you pass the first one you dont have to really do anything as the ship safely passes the other two by itself.

You actually dont have to enter the seeds with a specific speed, once you are teleported to the next area, you immediatly have a set amount of speed and a certain direction, no matter with with angle or speed you entered the seeds entrance.

Dont speed up in any direction, just wait until you reach the eggs. You will be very slow but I guarantee you that you wont be attacked by the anglerfishes. I tried this many times and it works fine everytime as long as you dont do anything at all once you enter the seed.
