Missing something on Lakebed cave.

I have the rumor map almost complete but i'm missing something here. I went to the 3 cave locations and read the text in the board, the floor and the walls but it still says i'm missing something.

You should have 3 entries at Lakebed cave:

- A Nomai named Coleus..
- To travel with..
- Coleus and Melorae returned..

As a guess to which one it might be, at one of the 3 locations that's enclosed did you turn the corner and find the writing there?

The one writen by the nomai that vanished? if so then yes.

You find that one in the Quantum Caves, the one that's just off a bridge on Ember Twin's equator, near the Escape Pod - there's a wall talking about Coleus's disappearance in there

Weird if it hasn't triggered as that's the one that tells you to go find the Lakebed Caves

Weird, that should definitely be the one, I went there on a new profile and that’s the only log item I have showing..

not sure if it's the one you where talking about but i managed to axidentaly find it, it's on the pole near the dude and you cant get there with the rock because the lights are on there.

i noticed that im missing something else too, on the white hole station, the only thing im missing from there is the twin projection stone but there doesnt seem to be anywere i can put it in.

ok i got that too, you have to teleport and take it to a nearby building, but now that i have everything i still dont have the achievement for some reason.

Chert has dialogue with ship log entries if you talk to them mid-loop, and again if you talk to them when the supernova music begins playing. These are the sneakiest log entries I can think of, ones I had to look up to find.

I just got this but i STILL don't have the achievement. at this point it's getting anoying because the game isn't telling me now what i'm missing so it's impossible to complete without looking it up.

Did you ever resolve this? I've got the same problem, I've been to all 3 caves (and read all 3 writings) but I'm still missing the first journal entry.

"It's one the pole near the dude." The camping dude doesn't have a pole with any sign?

I discovered 3 caves, where the rock travels, all are inbetween equator and the northern pole. Is there a 4th location for the traveling rock?

I too am missing this "- A Nomai named Coleus.."
Scanned the rock.
(cave 1) scanned the alien wall text.
(cave 2) no exit cave, went behind the corner, scanned cannyon wall
(cave 3) scanned the allien wall text and the one swirlie on the ground right in front of the wall

Still no joy. Out of ideas. Please help :D

I did find it eventually, but no thanks to this thread.

It is not one of the 3 caves but another cave hidden far below the sand. You have to get to it quickly.

You got me there.

The only thing I know of, where to hurry because of the sand, is the bottom of the sunless city, which serves as the entry to high energy lab, the one with the wide long pulsating cable. But I didn't notice any text swirlies on my way.

Is it this one, or something entirely else? Thanks for helping out.

The one where "you can't get there because the lights are on" - the rock travels to a cave room with at least three Nomai skeletons and a light activated by a switch.
It's been a while since I played, but I'm pretty sure that's the one you get to by going into the lakebed cave (down below Chert) very early in the loop before the sand rises.
