Pretty bad since it's the opening of the game but honestly, if you can, disable the controller and use keyboard and mouse. Game is amazing.

Yeah even I agree the controls are a bit... well ♥♥♥♥♥♥. Especially when trying to fly and land, I keep pressing Q so I need to rebind it lol

Very often my ship break up when I hit the ground. Funny thing, I went into autopilot and my ship headed straight for the sun xD. After that, Slate mention something about being careful with this.

Keyboard and mouse controls are great imo, i thought a controller would be abit off lol

No it's not. Assign flying up and down to mouse thumb buttons and it works perfectly.

The flying might be a bit better with a pad but the walky roundy parts are the ususal cancer.

The fact that it says "Best with a controller" then immediately needs a keyboard (to enter the profile name) is annoying. I'm using Steam Link - I didn't have a keyboard...

I'm surprised one of you actually got to fly your ship! I couldn't even JUMP. And that's AFTER yanking my controller back out and trying to use K/M...

What the hell is wrong with this game??? Then I find out they cuddled up with the fornite fiends...ugh. Guess I'm getting a refund...

I´ve got the same problem with the jump, no matter how i cannot jump ( hence i´m trapped in the first scenario) If anybody knows what to do, i´ll be very grateful if you can help with this.

I am also experiencing the jump issue, tried mouse keyboard unplugging swearing at it, nothing works, so i am stuck, very sad :-(

It's different than normal. You don't just tap space to jump, you have to hold it down for a second or two and then release.
