I have i7 6700t, 16gb ram, and has a rtx 2070, and it averages around 85fps and high around 100fps at 1440p with everything on the highest settings.
Game looks interesting but it's a shame about the choice of engine. Unity is fine for smaller indie games but not so great IMO for open world-type games that rely on streaming assets in during play which is what this is.
Maybe capping it to 60 fps will improve things...?
Well yeah, Unity... I'd be interested in hearing if running the game with FPS capped helps at all. I tend to not fret too much about FPS and just noticed (due to this thread) that I'm only getting 30 fps but haven't seen any sharp drops or dips. laptop with GTX 1060.
So of course exclusive mode performs significantly better (FPS now a constant 60 with vsync) " -window-mode exclusive "
Still not seeing any stuttering.
Nothing to do with V sync or graphics settings from my PC (GPU 2080) runs fine when stationary. the minute you start looking around its juddery mess(Vsync or not), unplayable by my standards. The only thing that helps is limiting the FPS to 60 this has helped massively. Its not 100% but is now playable you can limit fps to 120 also and it has the same effect although the game is no smoother than limiting at 60 seems the game is hardwired to run at 60. Unless someone knows how to remove this cap.y
