What does TBD mean?

I already know that Outer Wilds is an Epic Games Store exclusive title, at least for some time.
Obviously, this is really disappointing since this game looks really good and has a lot of potential for future updates, but I don't want to support Epic Games and their Store.

So I decided to buy Outer Wilds when it is on Steam.

The thing is I am really impatienly waiting for the Steam release, but when I look for the release date it only says "TBD".

What does that mean?

Also if anyone knows something about the release, please tell me.

It means that the release date wasn´t set yet, or better say, was removed, because originally there was set "Winter 2018" as release date, until it went Epic fail exclusive. And as exclusivity deal will probably last for one year, the game should be released on Steam in the next year, which is 2020. Unless the deal is just for six months, then it should be released here sooner.

TBD - always stands for "To Be Decided" in any cause. It is common English abbreviation
