New update: 3 gems?
Anyone know what the red, purple, and green gems are for?

They are used near the end of your run to unlock a portal to the new area.

The requirements to get them drop after doing it once, although I do not know if that only means reaching the area or beating it entirely.

I can confirm, it's reaching the new area makes the requirements easier, not that it's particularly hard even on the first time.

You mean Ericha? No.
You know how you climb the giant vertical tower to reach Kaminela? The 3 gem portal to the new area is just in a room to the right of that tower. You can see it right before the kaminela boss area door on the right. It's marked by the typical white vfx that doors to neighboring rooms normally have in the dungeon. You just walk in and interact with the slots to socket the gems and then activate the portal to go to the area.

Hope this helps

I've done the three and enter the new area, but got killed and the requirements reset. I've done two of them, but I have no idea what I have to do in the 'makes me want to take down enemies without taking any damage' requirement. I've cleared a lot of rooms and bosses without taking damage, and still the gem doesn't appear. Any clue?

You need to buy the soul collecter machine from the shop for 5k gold. You'll need to do the requirements every time you want to tackle the new area, but once you've accessed it once you only need to do 2 Alters, 2 Red Foods and 10 enemeis without getting hit.

Which shop? In the village I have no more buildings left to buy, and in normal shops I've not found that item.

From the Dungeon shop, it'll be to the left of the shop keeper on the ground on every floor.

you know the big guy in the dungeon? the shop keeper? next to him, on the ground, there is an item. Can be left or right, it's random and depends on the layout of the floor/room.

Can someone explain how to get the altar gem? Do I sacrifice specific rarity or amount of items to an altar or 3 altars?

You get the altar gem by donating an amount of items matching the missing number of gem slots above the altar. This HAS TO BE DONE FOR 4 FLOORS to get the altar gem for the portal. For example, on the first floor the altar may already have 2 gem slots filled in, therefore you only need to donate one item. The second floor may have no slots filled in by default, which means you need to donate 3 items.

Hope this helps. :dungreed:
