Is the Switch version updated to 1.6+?

The latest reported software update for Dungreed was on July 20th of 2021, so unless they decided not to talk about it I do not believe it has been updated to this years ver.

HORAY is owned by Nicalis, and Dungreed is definitely one of their more minor titles compared to larger ones like Cave Story +. You might need to wait a while for an update.

A shame too as I just bought it on Switch, where its both more expensive AND apparently still not updated :/
