Local Co-op not really working

So when i try to play co-op the controller CAN connect and move the dog but nothing else, not shoot or anything is this how it is suppose to be?

Likewise. I can connect with the controller and activate the dog, but I can't move or shoot. Just activate and deactivate the dog.

Oh, and the controller works when I use it to play single player.

Would you tell me the situation in more detail?

Which controller did you use to control the dog? (PS4 dualshock, XBOX controller, etc..)
Have you played with remote desktop? (parsec, nvidia shield, etc..)

And, would you send the output log after reproducing the bug situation?
The path of the output log is "Steam game path/Dungreed/Dungreed_Data/output_log.txt"
