Dungreed: The Complete Guide
Hey, all! Thought I'd share the guide I made for Dungreed here. It has some stat explanations, build guidelines, item synergies and advanced tricks, so hopefully both newcomers and veterans will find it useful.

Awesome!! Thank you for this guide! It helped quite a lot even though I mostly knew the mechanics! Changed a few things in my playstyle. Thumbs up! Keep up the great work! I still have to defeat Lasley for the first time! :rosewink::steamhappy:

Glad it helped you, and thanks for letting me know! :steamhappy:

Pretty good, I agree with most of the points you are making. I do have a differing opinion on a few things though.

Wings are actualy even more powerfull then you give them credit for IF you can also manage to find the spring shoes . Flying = constant 50% damage boost.

On skillpoints I found that having 5 points in swiftness is an absolute must have. Every build benefits a lot from having a double jump and an extra dash.

I noticed you left out Preparation for Perfection in the items to watch out for. While it does require some luck (namely getting a decent charge item) it can be build defining. Charged weapons with insta full charge can be pretty broken and fun to play with.

All in all a solid guide with pretty much everything you need to know.

Focus tree? How do you unlock that? Never heard of it.

new npc in the dungeon, ya gotta rescue them an build their thing in the town (there's 2 new npcs they both open up a new skill tree)

Not sure about anyone else, but I've won countless runs with just the Boomerang (and I usually find the magnifier with it) due to its ability to be thrown through walls and the possibility for multiple hits.

Also, do you have a list of set items? I guess I had never found any sets before and I just got some poison set bonus. I thought sets (from past RPG games) required legendary or higher gear to be combined, not just normal gear with similar stats. Great guide by the way.

If you pause the game you can go to the item list and then switch to the set list. In which you can see which items you need to complete the set. Once you do it will unlock the effects and they will be permanently shown there. Hope this help and answer your questions! :rosewink:

Hey all, thanks for your feedback! I've updated the guide.
Changes made:
* Listed complete stat changes from Aegis
* Blood of Srobeo was referenced as Blood of Srarabos
* Added Boss Strategies for Lasley, Arsha, Kaminela, Erta Ale and the secret Final Boss
* Added some tips for the trials. Still basic stuff, since the trials are more about skill than strategy.

An extremely good item is the demon hand, its ability is able to completely shred bosses, to the point where I've just been carried by it for the last 3 successful runs (with ostensibly non-melee costumes no less), I just got up to the bosses placed the fire orb and it'd decimate their HP like you wouldn't believe, plus it's an offhand that gives +50 power.

Which floor is the new NPC on for Focus? I've beaten the game since the updates (twice).

I don't remember exactly, but I think it was either the Forest or the Desert. All three of the new NPCs only have a chance of spawning - I think I found one, then went through five runs before I found the other two.

In your guide you mention that you can do the 5th trial in any run after you beat the 4th one.

Can you tell me where I need to activate it? Cause I apparently missed it (and beat kaminela instead) and have no idea where it could be. The hint from the old man doesn´t seem to narrow it down for me (other then that it is in the dungeon).

I have added that informtion into the guide. It is after defeating Envyrok, but before entering the Forest area. Jump into the pit.

The Gladius says increases Willpower by 15 for 15 seconds, but I can't find any information on what Willpower affects.
Sir Slush Aug 29, 2018 @ 9:26am
There isn't a Willpower stat, so it's likely a translation error. I believe the correct translation is just power, but you can check yourself by opening up your character sheet (by default on the C key) and seeing what numbers change when you use the buff.
