The camo's a bit useful to hide from apex predators sometimes in the early game but from what I remember back when I got it, it doesn't go as far as you might think. You can't shoot with it on you and your vision is obscured a lot as well. Many times I sat still in a bush or beside/below a tree and the apex's still killed me with the net on. Want to know the real secret to stealth and surviving? Stay low and in the grassy areas. Move slowly back away from an approaching predator, unless it has already detected you, putting distance and as many obstacles between you and it. If it gets real close, don't move as sound is a factor in the game, and if it stops and sniffs/looks around/etc. (or just stops moving, period), it is increasing it's detection ability. In other words, when it's moving you move and when it stops, you stop. I also cannot express how far the camo wear clothing goes in this regard, too. Base clothing is terrible and you will be killed often with it on. As soon as you can, get some better camo to wear on your character's body (not the net).
Thank you for the insight bro my buddy got it was still eaten lol im just more worried about how i didnt get any other missions, im sure it will be fixed eventually. i did get one of the clothing options and it works very well as for the netting yeah i could easily afford it now but its still more so i have no missions what so ever contracts still work thank god i did report it hopefully they look into it
Np, and glad I could help. Don't feel bad about having no more missions. The one to get the binoculars and the net were a sort of "tutorial" type thing for getting started. There aren't any others to be found or had. You could consider it your new mission, though it doesn't say so, to find all the outposts and points of interest on the map as well as finding all the notes left behind by the survivor that was there before you. Aside from this, it's just hunting, surviving, and exploring the map along with unlocking new gear. In this regard I envy you and others like you. Once you get all the gear and a good collection of rare skinned dinos to place in your trophy lodge, there's not really much left to do except visit back every once in a while to see if anything new has been released yet. I guess competing in the weekly competitions is also a thing, but that's it. That's the full extent of the game in it's full. Just enjoy the journey now (if you end up taking it) to the point I'm at now, and don't rush, because it comes to an end eventually. Cheers!
