No gun in tutorial?

I just got the game and immediately joined a friend before doing the tutorial mission. I spawned with no rifle so i was informed that i need to do the tutorial to get the rifle. I started the tutorial but the crates with the gun isnt spawning on the table. I have reinstalled/restarted the game and i have also deleted my player data to try to fix it. any suggestions?
