Feedback and suggestions
First of all I want to say I think this game is shaping up and has gotten pretty good. Best dinosaur hunting game out there at the moment. So keep up the good work.

I think it would be nice to have more movement modes. Prone/crawling and a creep/sneak movement so I can move even slower and more quiet trough bushes or when very close to dinosaurs.

Give us the option to toggle the "magnyfing glasses"symbols off from the tracking. I think the footsteps are enough and its cluttering the visuals.

Toggle sprint.

Ingame clock.

The ingame menu music cuts out too abruptly when returning to the game. There should really be a fade out.

The triceratops call sound cuts in very abruptly. Also need a slight fade or fix.

The help text states that i move more quietly when i crouched but the sound indicator is the same as walking?

Are the rifle scopes mils adjusted for some specific ranges or just purely visual?

Some more suggestions.

The ingame dinosaur menu. It would be nice if it displayed the organs so I can check where to aim in advance. It would also be nice there was some text about their senses and where they like to roam.

Some small caves, treestumps or boulders to hide in from large carnivores.

Photography missions?

Yep, an in-game clock would be nice. Is there currently a way I could steady the aim of my character for a better shot? For example, hold the space bar down for two seconds. The sight moves around too much.

Also, it would be awesome if other players could take a tour of your trophy room if that's not already available.

Night vision would be awesome!

Hold Q to hold breath and steady shot.

Hi, thank you for your suggestions. Here are our responses to the points you raised:

We will add prone/crawling in the coming updates. A specific sneak movement is also something we can look into (for walking/crouching).

We will add this option in the coming updates.

When you activate auto movement you can toggle running/walking with tapping shift-key. This will give you toggle sprint while traversing. It's implemented in a way that the character runs until half of stamina remains and will take another sprint once some stamina has recovered.

We want to implement also a way to toggle between running/walking in normal movement too so you wouldn't have to hold shift for running when active.

This we will add. Good suggestion.

We will check these and try to improve it.

Difference is not high enough to cause UI change currently. But there is still a difference in sound caused when crouching/walking.

For now they are not calibrated to specific ranges but that is something we want to improve. After the next update you'll have access to a gun range where you can test the mils more accurately.

Expanding the in-game dinosaur menu is something we want to do.

We'll think about this when we do more environment updates.

Sounds like an interesting idea.

Multiplayer trophy lodges will be introduced in the future.

There's one night vision rifle scope in-game. You can find it in the shop. Our plan is to bring more night vision gear into the game.

Thank you for the feedback!

It is indeed possible to play solo and keep you progress. First click create game, then theck the box that says "solo". Then you can start the game. Progress is always automatically saved as far as i can tell. And shared between multiplayer and singleplayer.

Bought the game last night, but refunded it, and wanted to share some feedback.

I DID enjoy the game, whilst I was walking around, but the 2 reasons I refunded, where not sure if playing offline would affect my long term game, and the 2 hour refund window.

I come from Way of the Hunter, and the controls are very similar to this game, so I was able to move around easily, but the online/offline thing, wasn`t clearly enough defined for me, and this seems to be a game that favours online play.

I don`t play multiplayer, or online. I play all games strictly offline, and not being sure how that might affect my games, I wasn`t sure I should keep the game. Every time I launched the game, a window popped up, with "steam activation check" or something similar. I searched through the options, for anything to tick/untick, to let the game know I only wanted to play offline, and thought I`d set it to offline, but this box kept coming up on launch every time.

I did see a box that said progress isn`t saved for offline play, and even though when I exited, and went back in, it looked like it remembered my score, and a location I`d found, I wasn`t confident that if I played it for hundreds of hours, as I`d hoped I would, that the game would remember, and keep all of my progress.

And when relaunching the game, there wasn`t any option to "resume game" it always stated "start new game" and even though it looked like it had remember what I`d done previously, I wasn`t certain this would always be the case.

If the game were to have a clearly defined offline mode, where I could keep progress, and when launching the game, could see an option to resume game, then I would certainly buy this game again.

As the 2 hour window was closing, I was racing around, trying to find options, and help, and instructions on gameplay etc, whilst also trying to actually play the game, but was greatly confused with the inventory/storage part, and not knowing what I was doing, as I`ve never played a game before, that had that kind of interface, although I have seen similar in youtube videos for other games.

If the game could cater for offline players, then I`d absolutely buy it again, as I`d feel more confident learning how it all works, and not have to worry about the 2 hour window.

I just want to click launch, walk around, enjoy the landscape, and shoot Dinosaurs for the lodge, and I`d like to do it without needing to be online, or risk losing any progress.

Apologies if I`ve been a bit of a dummy, and an offline mode, with everything I`ve mentioned above, was there all the time, and I just didn`t notice it, but trying to get to grips with it all, in the 2 hour window isn`t as easy for an old man !

It's kind of obvious when you create a game and you see the big button to press that says "private".

So you spend two hours not actually enjoying the game but spending most of it "running around," not being able to figure out that if you just go back into a game, it saves your items and progress?

That's a lot of writing for a discussion comment that makes less than zero sense. What actually happened?

ZeroEffort89 - Thank you, so it was there all the time ? I did see the solo/private box, but it was that message about not saving progress, that I wasn`t sure about. Hope it can be more clearly defined in the future, as I would purchase again for sure.

Just_some_guy - If it was that obvious, I wouldn`t have commented ! And a big button that says "resume game" would be nice to have, and would have assuaded my issues.

I said there was a box that said progress isn`t saved when playing offline, or words to that effect, which is why I wasn`t 100% certain, any effort I`d put in, would be kept. It looked that way, but when something tells you otherwise, it makes you wonder.

And the "steam activation check" that came up every time I launched, didn`t fill me with confidence either.

2nd paragraph - I DID enjoy the game, WALKING around, NOT running ! The only running I did was as the 2 hour window was due to end.

Yes, a lot of writing, as the game asked for feedback, and I provided some. I didn`t want to come on here, and run the game down, I felt I explained what I thought could be improved on, and made clearer, and that at some point I will very likely buy this again.

No hate from me, this looks a good game, but as I said, a more clearly defined offline option, and I`d be right back in.

I've never seen a message saying that the game is not saving progress. That literally makes zero sense; what online or solo game doesn't save progress? Besides that, it would have taken you mere minutes to figure out that the game does indeed save progress by existing and re-entering the game either on multiplyer or solo.

You wasted your time complaining about a problem that doesn't exist, only to come here to find out that you should have inquired about it here in the first place.

How exactly did you purchase this game?

I purchased the game through steam, whilst on sale.

From memory, the box came up after selecting create new game, it was on the right of the screen, a mostly white box, but I`d have to buy again, install, and check this to confirm, but there was absolutely a box with this wording.

And seeing create new game, and not RESUME game, coupled with the box I mentioned above, left me with doubts, which is why I wrote here with feedback, on the subject.

Yes, it appears the game DOES do what I expected/hoped it would, but I wasn`t certain, I accept I was wrong, and again, I will most likely buy this game again in the future.

Complaining ? I thought what I wrote was constructive feedback.

The only time I appear to be wasting, is here, and with you. so if you wish to continue with me in this thread, please do so in a less condescending tone, and see what I wrote, as intended to help the game going forward, and not to run it down.

Thank you.

Play - create game - solo/private - start
There is no "create new game."
Like I've already said, this could have been rectified by starting the game and realizing that you've kept all of your progress.
You can check the discussions, you are literally the only person to have come up with this bizarre problem lol
