Update: Just tried the Oculus Store Version. Hands are not misaligned, it works as intended. I guess it is an issue with SteamVR. Refunded...
Any game that goes live with such a gamebreaking "bug", and one of the most obvious ones as well, is bound to fail hard.
I spent three minutes in the game, saw my hands being offset and went naah fk it, exited the game and refunded.
If they can't even get that right, the rest of the game will be a joke along with the future support of it. And judging from the current reviews, I was right.
When will I learn.
Thanks, I think I'll refund and buy from there too. Plus it has quest/rift crossbuy.
It would be great to receive as much information as you can give us about this issue along with OS and the hardware you're are running SEVR on. Hopefully together we can address this problem and roll out a fix ASAP.
After Playing I do also notice that the hands are misaligned. I have a Valve Index with the Index controllers and Index base stations. I have a windows 10 PC with a RTX 2070 super, AMD Ryzen 7 3800x, 32gb of Ram, 800 watt psu. Game installed on SSD.
Which controllers actually align correctly? Vive Wands, Rift CV1 Touch controllers?
So far we have G1, G2, Index, Rift S, and Quest all reported to misalign - perhaps more by now.
I have both Wands and Index controllers but am yet to see reports on the Wands.
