Game stuck on loading screen

For some reason, the game won't get anywhere past the loading screen at the start. I don't know why this is happening all of the sudden now, but if anyone has a solution to this, do please share.

I have a solution for you if you're looking for an answer, at least one that worked for me. Shut off steam cloud saves. Then go to this folder:

C:\Users\[yourname]\AppData\locallow\Super Scary Snakes\Black Future '88

There should be two files in there with a short name like "accountdata" and then a long string of numbers. Copy those to the desktop just in case and then in the Black Future folder delete the files. Then start the game. This should effectively delete everything out of the game and force it to rebuild. My problem was the same as yours and persisted just as long until I saw a potential way to fix it. Doing this fixed my game.

As a warning this will delete all your progress but at least you can play the game again.

The same happend to me It's really frustrating to loose all the progress. Does anyone have save file that I can download? (I mean tjhe accountdata file). Thank you

Right click on settingsData and make sure it's not Read only and try if it works.
