Items and islands disappeared from my game

I was playing yesterday and had the fairy island, the island with the huge tree and quest guy, and island to the left of rainbow one bought, also a lot of wood and coal which I put into the vault. I went into the dungeon then I died in the dungeon and spawned back outside, everything was fine, but I didn't feel like playing anymore, so I save and quit the game. Next day I joined in on my save file, noticing wood and coal missing from my vault, whilst being replaced by wheat and star fragment, which I yesterday used to craft animal lure. Animal lure disappeared from my island too. Looks like it got reverted back to previous save or something, but time of my save is correct to what it should be. So I lost my items, which wouldn't be so bad, but the islands that disappeared I can't re-buy or do anything with them and its discouraging me from playing the game. Its unfortunate because I quite liked the idea, but this bug is game breaking.
