Thunder/Storm Rod not increasing in damage

I'm sure this is an oversight, but the Thunder/Storm Rod does not increase in damage after you get damage increases. The Fire Rod, Ice Rod, Pickaxe, Sword, and Bow all do more damage and scale, but the Thunder Rod stays the same. This makes it useless against sigil bosses and in the void.

I noticed this too, but I honestly assumed it was a balancing feature rather than a bug, since it'd be overpowered to have 200+ damage shooting out in three different directions in a constant stream, rather than there be pause in between shots, like the others have.
