i don't think idle games need a multiplayer, maybe a friends only leaderboard at best. personally would ruin an unexplainable feeling in an unexplainable way unless they pull it off well

yeah a lot of games would benefit from a multiplayer option but it would be hard to work in well forager being one of those games Ex: subnautica, The Long Dark. Just a lot of games that could benefit greatly but would take more work than a lot of devs are willing to do for something thats not a guaranteed positive reaction so while i understand it its also just bugs me sometimes
