game crash directly after Humble bundle and Hopfrog message screen

Got the same problem. First of all it said that my savegame was out of synch with steam cloud service. I've chosen the local ones to try to load. After then it crashes after starting the game. :(( I do not get to the mainmenu to create a new game/savefile.
It crashes as the thread openers writes immediately after the hopfrog screen.

Okay, I was able to solve it with the help of the official Discord servers moderators. :)

To access your save data, do the following:
1. Press the windows button in the bottom left of your screen
2. Type %localappdata% and press enter
3. Scroll to and open forager

Then download this file
https://cdn.discordapp.com/attachments/473573986593144843/704333352420769813/config.txt
and replace this downloaded file with your local config.txt

Start the game again.

I had then to choose again (because of save-desync) which savegame I want to take. I took again the local one and ... I was able to access the main menu again and could load my save game :)
