How to deal with the amount of resources and stuff?
I am having issues with how many thingsI am getting and can't carry. On top of my islands just overfilling to the point that only chickens spawn when I need leather etc

Yeah, I just broke the 3hs achievement and my islands are almost full of trees.
I'll try cutting them and making wooden floors to avoid overgrowth.

What a pretty game! I love it

If you make wooden floors then other resources can't down?

Can animals spawn?

Also floors, they are an unlock?

I assume I can get every skill in the end.

What I thought was wooden "floors", are actually "roads".
It's hard to set up and is easy to hit it with the pickaxe when you're swinging at slimes.
I did unlocked floors later, they are made in the mason table. You can also make walls and gates.
I wonder if I should surround the whole island, or what is the idea

Too many things in your bag? Build vaults. Once you deposit something in the vault, all future drops of that thing while you are outside will go to the vault instead of your bag. For example, if you put wood in the vault, all wood you pick up will go straight to the vault instead of clogging up your bag. You can also craft using items from the vault without having to remove them.

Just be careful not to put something in there which you use up completely on a regular basis, because then it will start collecting in your bag again. Put infrequently used things or things you never run out of in there instead.

In a vault, if you press Ctrl on the item. That slot will be locked to that item, so even if you use all of them it should still default back into the vault when you get new ones :)

I think that is a skill you need to unlock, before the Vault gives you that option. But yes, there willl be a small icon next to the item, and it stays there, even if it goes down to zero^^

Allmost everything I have is in vault...^^

so we need to build 100 vaults? lol

Just some very rudimentary calculations, and not taking inventory into account at all... There are roughly 139 material/crafting/potion/archaeology items in Forager at the time of posting this.

78 materials
24 food materials
16 potions + scrolls
10 farming materials
11 archaeology finds

I did not include a single decoration item in this because I'm making this as a utilitarian guide.

If you unlock vaults with no upgrade, you would need approximately 24 to store every item and have an empty inventory. If you unlock the upgrade where vaults store more items, you can get away with using approximately 16 vaults and have an empty inventory.

Considering you have extensive inventory upgrades, you could probably knock the number down several times based on how many inventory spaces you have.

Inventory management is all based on how you take things one step at a time. Have a full inventory? Put down another vault. Wasting way too much on vaults? Upgrade the vaults to store more things. Don't put the cart before the horse. Also, enjoy the ride until you reach your end destination. :necroheart: :isthisacoworapig:
