The newest patch on PC is not on consoles and has not been said whether it will be or not.
Controller support is broken on the newest PC update and has still not been fixed so I wouldn't hold out hope for more console patches.
Also, the performance of the Switch version, after the update, has tanked BADLY. I was getting FPS drops to single digit frame slideshow only a couple hours into the game, once I had some fish traps, several crafting buildings etc built and a few lands bought. Like so bad that I stopped playing. Tried my Xbox One X copy next and that lasted about 4-5 hours smoothly until it is now doing the same thing.
I get that a lot is happening at once on screen in this game, but if even the Xbox X version is tanking to horrific levels, maybe the console versions needs some optimization to make them run smoothly.
Anyways tl;dr - the Switch is updated through Nuclear update on PC.
i'll get it when it can play properly,
for now, i'll stick to steam
thx for the info
