Cloud saves on PC (Xbox) game pass

Has anyone got cloud saves, and transfer of their saved game on Forager, to transfer from one PC to another via the cloud using (Xbox) game pass?

I just started a save file on my laptop and I'm 2 hours in. There is no sync or transfer of the save file when I boot Forager on my desktop through (Xbox) game pass. Saved game still there on my laptop, so I think I'm facing having to run it off my laoptop with my desktop peripherals connected.
