Nintendo switch update??

Starting to think you totally forgot us on nintendo switch..
Love the game and loving the switch release but where are the updates? Do i have to get it on pc aswell because u wont update switch or whats going on?

Switch is still stuck on version 1 and there has been no news other then some necroed posts 2018 on reddit.

Question is did you give up on switch release?

The switch updates are up to the company doing the ports. The PC devs have limited impact on what the port company does. AFAIK, the updates are still coming sometime this year.

This is typical for PC indie ports. If you want to play the most updated version of the game, buy it on PC.

We haven't gave up on Switch in the slightest, ports have made a lot of progress, though!

Im sorry just sure feels like it when the game version still says 1,0,0

But i guess we have to live with snail slow updates on the switch version ? Or will this pick up anytime soon?

As porting is a rough time for indies, it'll take a fair while for updates to transfer over for any game really! All the updates are coming at once, though, so it won't be "Oh heres one update, now wait a while for the next!" You'll get a whole heap of new content once these are ready!

Thats good and trust me we cant wait you have alot of players eagerly pressing that update button just incase its comming do you guys have any idea on how long or far away such an update might be? Or is totally out of your controll?

We've been looking for Q1/Early Q2 this year I believe, so we can only hope it'll be asap really! It is out of our control as the PC team, though, we just know its coming along very nicely!

So glad I read this thread before starting a new game on PC.

I too have been eagerly awaiting updates to switch version and had almost given up hope through lack of news on the subject.

Can't wait to start a new game on switch with all the new shinies!

At this point I think we can assume consoles won't be updated, 9 months with ZERO updates. Beyond unacceptable.

pretty much. i'm never going to buy anything from the developer again. I own it on the Switch and i wish i could get my money back. Even Artifact 2.0 will come out before this game gets updated
