Offshore Drill

I'm having issues with the offshore drill. I have it played on water and I'm able to create a bottle of oil, however the bottle just appears in the middle of the drill and I can't reach it unless I break down the drilling platform and build a bridge out to the middle of the water. I've tried placing the drill next to land and bridges, and in both cases the oil can't be reached. I set the drill to produce 5 oil and I walked away, when I came back, there was no oil. Any help would be appreciated.

If you mouse over the bottled oil you should be able to grab it. Droids and having the Automatic skill helps as well.

or wait to unlock one hability than automaticly grabs everything, or use a drone
