Spirit Orb Recipe

Is it just me or is the recipe for Spirit Orbs at the Spirit Forge unreasonably expensive? Early-mid game I found it much better to just craft sage scrolls instead, since I used spirit orbs primarily for leveling up, and late-end game I found it much better to just craft/buy boss sigils instead when I wanted to increase stats. Basically at no point in the game did it feel advantageous or useful to craft spirit orbs of my own considering their price.

pretty much you can buy some sigils as you said, kill a boss and get 4, if you got a few from market collecting you can get a mass of them in hardly any time but i never found making them even worth the resources, felt the same with the pick axe though between drones, bow, fire staff you can clear stuff so much faster i never even used my nebula/cosmic pick, because if i needed star frags id make some scrolls and spam star drops lol, and cosmic bow explodes on contact and keeps going making clearing stuff stupid easy if you put some orbs into dmg. but in the end your doing nothing but "prepping" for boring void runs by maxing the fire staff and massing dmg through orbs (void really needs some kind of revamp i swear)

The Spirit Orb recipe is really just a vestige of the Pre-Combat update. Before the update, this was the ONLY way to get more Spirit Orbs after opening every chest and doing every quest.

i get that netwalkthroughs but that shows how little was changed for the combat update, including things that need to be still

I like the suggestion someone made in another thread to remove the spirit orb recipe and let players continue to gain experience at level 65, awarding a spirit orb each time they fill the bar.
