Unsure about Forager
Dear gamers,
is this game worth a buy, when i already own Stardew Valley?
Is there anything in Forager, you can not do in Stardew Valley?

it's a different game for starters. I honestly don't think there's much similarity with Stardew Valley past way you gather resources/use them and maybe the graphics.

Stardew is more of a life simulator whereas this one is just meth and crack levels of addiction

It's not a bad game, in fact it's quite enjoyable, but you can 100% the game pretty fast. In any case Stardew Valley has metric tons of more content at a cheaper price.

I agree, this is nothing like stardew, and i'm glad! I personally can't stand games where you are limited to what you can do in a day by an energy system. In Forager you never sleep or have to stop doing something just because the game forces you to (i have this same issue with the graveyard keeper game). I love Forager way better.

You can finish forager in 3-4 hours . If you own stardew valley , you'll find Forager SOOOOOOOOO empty ! Forager is a casu game .

Edit : in Forager you don't have farm or something like this .

I lost a 44 hour save file to that file corruption bug (15m coins GONE T_T) and I still wanna play it. So...it's basically crack.

Well comparing Stardew Valley and Forager are two different things.

The Goal of Stardew obviously is to farm and meet the NPCs and have a life inside while completing the community hall.

Forager is a casual game where you harvest resources on islands. Leveling up... Upgrading your skills allowing you to get more islands and automation. Then theres the completionist factor of the game. Where you need to complete everything including in order. Get all the tools and so on. It plays like a top down Zelda game with an overly simplified way of automating

I would say buy it if you want to play it. It's worth it if you want something to do.

No. Wait for a while, the dev released this way before it was actually finished. Maybe get it later, or maybe not, if it's still a mess. A lot of potential though, it seems like a good idea to check in later.

I would second this. This game is like meth & crack & maybe heroin.
It has all of the right loops that suck me in. It's sucked away 12 hours of my life in a blink.

I love Stardew Valley but this isn't really anything at all like that.
