Could we have way to revive the Talking Beets or make them invulnerable to explosions?
The Droids and Ballistas benefit from the Demon Pickaxe upgrade and since green slimes constantly spawn near the Talking Beets they keep taking damage and 1 has even died in my game, even though I never intended to kill them in that game. Can we please get some way to revive them or at least make the Talking Beets immune to explosions?

I have not tried to killed the beets yet but I thought the Secrets Options under User file on computer, your can unlock the "Monster" feat, without the need of killing those lovely beets.

It's under iAmNotAMonster "0" = off, "1" = on

This has absolutely nothing to do with what OP is talking about...

Did you even read the post?

Yes I did, he want a way to revive it. But he also say "or at least make the Talking Beets immune to explosions?"

I can't advice about revive, but immunity I would think that is the way.

Right, and what does any of that have to do with the feat? OP didn't mention the feat at all.

They just don't want the beets dying accidentally because of explosions caused by slimes and ballistas.

Well, it's on the guides sections, you can disable accident kill ( of the giant beet ), that is what I thought he want beside revive. What is a "feat" btw?

I didn't even try if it works, cos the game seems to have auto save even if you hit the "X" to close before it reload.

edit: "feat" = feature?

Well, if he don't want any feature, guess dev have to set the beet to not be killed like the some of the "NPC" in the game? ( but then some would want to kill it, so isn't the secret option is the better option? )

No, feat = feat, not feature. They're like achievements.

In the Gear tab, they're to the right of Skills.

When you get a Feat, you unlock a cosmetic item.

The only thing that the "iAmNotAMonster" secret option does is unlock the the Monster feat so you can get the cosmetic item and the final feat (which requires you to get all the others) without killing the beets.

It doesn't make the beets invulnerable.

ohhhhh! Thanks for the explain.

I thought that is a secret that will disable killing, like the invulnerable Bridges ( this I've tried during the early stage before I can make the landfill )

I think maybe we need to ask for an addition to the "secretOptions.ini" that allows the player to make the Giant Beets invulnerable. My frustration and heartbreak over their accidental death is really frustrating. It needs to be submitted to the devs.

Same, I have a lovely little farmers market set up around my beets and came back to it to find that 2 of them died because I was firing explosive arrows in that general direction aiming at something completely different. I've been crying for 20 minutes because I really enjoyed them there and am so sad that I didn't even take a screenshot of my market because I didn't think that one day it would be gone. Please fix.
