Max Spirit Orb stats?

I have max energy which disappeared as an option and I'm wondering if the others do the same or if they're just infinite? I don't want to keep dumping points into them if they're not going to max out and disappear.

Max energy is the length of 6 hearts if anyone is curious.

15 hearts is the max still haven't found out how far damage goes though. Especially since there's no way to see damage stat

i think i did read from the developer there is no limit on damage. cant quote him but i think he wrote its more fun beeing OP.

Sounds about right on the no limit. Over my play through I sunk about 40 orbs into damage, a couple shots from the upgraded flame rod would level 2 or 3 islands completely lol.

Question: Is the damage you get from the altar the same that you get from using the Spirit orb for damage?

i used many spirit orb for damage. i dont know remember when, damage has not increased.

i have a save with a few altars producing severe hundred orbs just to see what dmg can go to, but yeah seems limitless and pointless after like 20, im 1 shotting the temple bosses.

actually you can see by clicking your sword in your inventory
