Spikes for the skull chests

So...how are you supposed to get through these because i accidentally found a way that makes 0 sense but works.

Apparently they are subject to burning arrows. I accidentally hit one and saw it get destroyed a moment later...lol

The Thunder Rod can destroy them, too. If you break enough spikes and walk to the middle of the island, the rest of the spikes will self-destruct permanently.

I just plowed right into them with 1 heart dodged and they disapeared

See i thought roll was what i was supposed to do but i kept getting instasporked anyway.

I got past the spikes with having around 6 hp. How much you have?

Well that's the point apparently, you need to have more than 4 hp or around it to get past spikes.

I just blew them up with bombs

When you have a fairy in a bottle in ur inventory, you can just walk over it.

To destroy the spikes there are 3 methods.

Electricity attacks (the Rod or the thunder potion)
Anything explosive (Bombs are the easiest way to get rid of them)
If you have enough hearts you can roll through them as they only do 3 hearts of damage.

I just rolled, and I only had three hearts, You just got to make sure that you're into the middle, and all the spikes go pop, because you made it to the center
