Spawning Seems Crazy, What am I Missing?

Hey all! The resource spawning seems super crazy on the map, I can hardly keep up with it and entire islands get filled to max with the resource respawn. I have upgrade my pick a few times and my gloves 2, but I can't seem to keep up. Any suggestions or am I just missing something obvious?

just put mining rods and you dont need to mine anything

Would you mind letting me know what tech path I need to go down to get those?

Would you rather have it like this... Or have you stand there waiting whilst nothing spawns for long periods of time?

Is quite a quick way to get the rods. Just go to the "Skill path" part :)

Ya you can use mining rods as mentioned, or wait for islands to fill up then use a couple bombs. If stuff is getting in your way you can use bridges around the edges of islands to move around on, and plant crops in areas where you don't want trees/rocks to spawn so you can path through them easily.
