Any way to "cultivate" cows?
Several past hours I haven't seen a single cow in the game. Plenty of chicken, few sheeps, but cows just stopped to spawn completely. Is there any way to increase their spawn rate?

I've done it by using the quarry, but I'm sure you can use the miner scroll/druid scroll to get a bunch of rocks/trees, then use the wizard scroll to turn them into animals.

As Biggy said, using a Druid Scroll + Wizard Scroll in the grass biome is the best way. if you need poop use Animal Feed from a windmill on a Cowpig, preferably next to a bunch of Lighthouses. If you're after leather, it should be easier once you have the northern biome mostly unlocked and a decent sword.

If you're having resource problems and haven't unlocked the amulet slot, work your way up past the shoe/glove skill and open up Amulets. They increase your resource gains.

There is also the pink bow, which you get from the princess in the desert quest. It gives more loot from animals and increases their spawning rate (i think it was 25%).

It's really useful and sadly one of the things i missed until endgame, where i didn't need it anymore. So if you can't build shrines or scrolls yet, try that quest, it only needs 2 Royal Clothing.
