what buildings does power plant affect, exactly?

From playing in game, looks like furnaces that are entirely within 6 squares of a power plant (provided the increased range is researched) (diagonally or horizontally) produce at increased rate. However I don't notice any production speed difference for offshore drilling rigs or forges. Of course the in-game documentation doesn't explain much of the effect either.

What buildings specifically does power plant affect? ballistas? flower presses? inscription tables? cauldrons? cookpots? forges? etc. etc. etc. etc. etc.

I can tell you that all of the main crafting stations, including offshore drilling rigs and banks, are sped up by being near a power plant. And that the effect seems to be cumulative with multiple power plants.

In this screen shot you can see one power plant at the bottom right. There are two more just off the top of the screen. Yes, I also have a production buff active from a shrine, but the production speed is insane, the sound is deafening, and this is racking up the XP. Also not shown is a row of banks that are manically generating money.

I built a power plant, then tried placing various buildings - lines of forges, of banks, of other things.

Far as I could tell power plants don't affect banks or offshore drilling rigs. They have a limit of six squares measured horizontally or diagnoally; affected building must be entirely within that range (tried that with a bunch of furnaces).

I guess I'll go back in and try the setup again.
