Golden Eggs

I have over 300 eggs and none are gold. Someone Explain.

I think it has to do with your relationship with the creature. If you use ana's delight and the pink bow, then spam animal feed on one chicken, you should get plenty.

Eventually you will buy an island with a museum, I needed the egg for one of the bundles. I just ended up buying it from the market.

Try feeding animal food to chicken. They will immediately lay eggs and in about the tenth try I got a chicken to lay golden eggs after being fed animal food.

I fed like 200 chicken food with Ana's delight and liquid luck and didn't get one

I'm in the same boat. I have multiple windmills producing feed on infinite, having spent hundreds of feeds with Ana and Luck and can't get a single egg. I need 3 of them.. this is just stupid.

The golden eggs are pretty rare, I think you can use the liquid luck potion to give you a higher chance to get one, so you can feed a chicken with animal feed until it drops it. I also heard that the lighthouse aura is stackable so in theory you could place a bunch of lighthouses nearby, get a chicken to be in range of their aura (you can use an animal lure for that), drink a luck potion and feed them until they drop a golden egg. That way you should have the highest chance to get it.

Anyway you'll eventually get an artifact (I think it's the Pink Bow) that increases the chance of animals spawning around you and that combined with a drone that automatically collects stuff (it also interacts with chickens to make them drop eggs) you'll get golden eggs without even trying to get one. Also keep upgrading your amulet to get more resources that also affects how many eggs you get so I guess also the chance of getting a golden one.

One more thing, I think you can also get a buff from shrines to increase the amounr of drops you get but that lasts only a pair of minutes or so.

tl;dr Just keep playing and you'll get one eventually.

Edit: I've just checked and I have about 5.6k eggs and something like 10 golden eggs so if my math is correct there's a chance of about 0.2% of getting one.
