Game crashes after level up screen

As soon as i leave the level up screen the game crashes and it still keeps happening

Same issue: whenever I press esc to exit the skill menu, it crashes. It also shuts down when I die (on challenge island with all the ennemies). And I can't delete the saves that are created. It's rather annoying. I've tried 4 times already, keeps crashing.

This is why you don't just release an update on a Friday and then leave for the weekend, devs.

I bought the game yesterday and i dont know if it exited before

I happens for me as well - I bought the game yesterday, when I open the skills menu and close it, it crashes AND turns the savefile into a speed run or something weird also when I open the feats menu and return my island restarts. So if I had built anything on it, it's gone. I also can't save any games.

I have the same problem and when i save the game, when I return to the game saved it didn't save.

Hi!
Same as the others, bought the game yesterday and the bugs were there from the start.
I didn't try the feat menu, I just saw the bug for the skill menu and when you die.
I started two new saves and they both bugged.
And now, I can't erase any of the saves and they have all converted to a challenge island game though I chose a casual one.

Hey everyone! We pushed an update 30 minutes ago that we think will help with this issue, but if it still occurs, let me know! We believe it may be an issue with our engine on how it handles file renaming, and if so we will continue to make workarounds.

If this error still occurs for you, please look in your save folder and tell me if you see any files that have the extention .tmp instead of .txt -- for example, savefile0.tmp

Too bad you released something so broken that I already refunded it. Never gonna trust an 'update sale' ever again. Thanks for life lesson.
