You should not need any Heros for any missions in normal mode. Heros can help but it is possible to win without them.
As a developer I do not want to try and give any hints or tricks myself but are there any players who have suggestions for Might Mcrizzle? During the latest patch the last two missions got their difficulty boosted.
Daniel
Hey Daniel if you don't wwish to give hints and help pubicly you can always message me through my email if you so wish we can talk there and if you do I wont leak a thing to anybody
You can try to find Danté (hero) in this map firstly, the lab is in the northwest of the map (fly with a jet and deploy the soldier hero unit here), then surrender and start the mission again, you will have Danté and he is a killer
Infantry
Radar
Striker
Scout
Not only that but what Hero should I spawn in ? I have a fair amount of them from what I know I'm only missing the Heavy Metal and Fortresss Heroes so I'd just like a bit more information or some specifics
But I can say one of the strongest heros (in my opinion) is William Bishop (the fighter jet). Just the fact that only Striker units, Jets, Fortresses and the Mega Metal can attack him makes him extremly valuable. That also means only three units can counterattack him, but given that his evasive abilities are pretty high he mostly get almost none counterdamage. And even if he gets attacked first he won't receive that much damage compared to normal jets.
Btw. If you never used him: USE him, because he can attack ground units as the only fighter jet. And that is pretty cool when you make a Focus Fire, even if you cannot kill the enemy with it, if William attacks as last, the enemy cannot make a counterattack (with the few exception of Jet, Fortress and the Mega Metal)
So basicly: When a mission is to hard -> drop him in as the first hero.
Thanks for your suggestion on using William Bishop I actually think it makes sense to do that concidering that the 2 biggest concerns : The Fortresses on both the Left side and the Right Side and also the Mega Metal right down the middle lane
but I have to ask if you do know how to properly unlock either the Fortress or the Heavy Metal Heroes as well I will try your tactic but a reply on this would be appreciated.
The Heavy Metal Hero:
You can unlock him in Mission 8. The lab that you need to find is pretty far in the south-east.
Be aware that in this mission the AI cannot produce new units (well you too) so best thing is to moe down all of the AI units expect the Radar unit. Otherwise you will never reach that lab on normal occasion.
Btw. there are two labs behind enemy lines.
The Fortress Hero:
You can unlock him in Mission 13. The lab needed is in the north-east. It is hidden behind a Forest, but reachable if you stand on the Factory there with an infantry unit.
Your welcome but be aware, I do not know if the Map layout has changed since the difficult patch. And I cannot recheck as long as I'm still sketching down the New Game + maps.
Daniel - Tiny Metal Game Dev at Area 35 for telling me that I didnt need a specific Hero to win
millinagi - Tactics Expert on the 14th Misssion
Happensmaker - Hero Location Informant and Ideal Hero Suggestion.
P.S Happens Idk why but when I type your full name it blurrs out part of your name
sorry
Thank you millinagi & Happensmaker for being so helpful!
Daniel
Don't worry. I don't understand it either why the word s-mak is being censored. For me it just sounds like a different word for hitting or punching (even if it doesn't mean that), so not very aggresive to be censored.
But be it as it is, And I don't want to change my name.
So you could call me Happy if thats easier for you, its what call me most of my friends online.
Whoever designed the last mission or made it harder should be fired.
How can you screw up an actually good game so badly with an adjustment? You got through the whole game, you had to be tactical and the level of difficulty was pleasant.
I've restarted the ♥♥♥♥ 7 times in a row now and none of the tactics work.
Unfeasible even with hero units.
Apparently there is "one" tactic, sorry, but if only one crappy way works then it's not a strategy game but a puzzle game and that's really annoying.
