last level world 2

In the last level of world 2 I need to get the lowest platform on the black area with three platforms on it to go to an even lower position so I can get to the other platform and the shape item.
On the walkthrough the control switch lowers the bottom platform into the correct position but it doesn't when I use the control switch. Also, is there some way to control whether you drag a platform with you in the black area? They drag along with me automatically though I notice on the walk-through sometimes you can go by them without dragging them. I have a screenshot but posting it publicly to steam didn't seem to make it appear on the game's page so I'm asking here instead. Thanks.

Not sure but I think you may have missed to set the platform up first with the switch check the walkthrough for what needs to be done before lowering the platform with the switch.

I have checked the walkthrough, that's why I am confused. Do the positioning of the other two platforms in the changeable area affect what happens to the lower platform? I have the lowest platform in the lowest position it will go to. On the walkthrough, activating the switch when it's in the lowest position causes it to drop to an even lower position. As I said, I do have a screen shot, but it doesn't seem to have shown up on the page despite being marked publicly visible on my feed. Not sure why steam isn't displaying it on the game's hub. It's hard to describe this in words, the screen shot makes it clear where I am at. Thanks.

OK I think I can see what needs to be done. But I have found the movable blocks somewhat cumbersome to deal with, in an otherwise intuitive game. Sorry this is so wordy. If steam was showing my screen shot properly this could have been about one sentence long. Thanks for yor patience.

Again, not sure if this will help because the screenshot is inconclusive in this respect: you need to switch the platforms up, then move the bottom platform down in the black area, then switch the platforms down again. Should work...

Thanks. It did work. I missed that you had to set the other platform outside the black area in the up position. I was unclear about the functioning of the platforms inside the black area, so was considering that the main source of trouble. Thanks for your help.
