Bug, can't complete puzzle 4-4.

Issue with the puzzle on world 4 puzzle 4. When I try to use the black area to slid the highlighted piece (top left of the puzzle) the piece becomes permanently highlighted and slides back and forth no matter where I am in the level and if I use a round rotate action and it causes the highlighted piece to cross over another piece the rotating piece just disappears completely rather than snapping back like it's supposed to. I've reset the puzzle a number of times but the bug happens every time.

This happened to me on 4-6. It worked the first time I tried the puzzle but I got stuck and restarted it. Every time since the restart the sliding piece has been broken. Unable to continue, very frustrating.
