Game Won't Open

I just recently bought this game. I have a Macbook Air High Sierra OS. Whenever I start playing, it asks that I copy the CD Key. I copy at but the next thing is that it won't start running. What do you think would cause this? Thank you!

any luck guys. OS High sierra just bought. Copy key then click play. everything closes out and that all she wrote. any help would be fantastic

unsure what differences there are on Mac, but, i had similar issue in windows. To fix it I had to first set compatibility to windows XP SP3 (unsure if others work as this was first one I tried and it worked). then things would start but on game launch I recieved a DirectX 3 error. I then ran the DXsetup.exe from the redist folder. after these 2 fixes the game ran fine for me.
I hope some of this workaround helps you as well.

Just bought this game because it was on 90% discount.

I'm using osx high sierra, i can run the launcher (languages and settings)
but got some fatal error after i click the play button.

that error looks like you either do not have DirectX properly installed or the game is unable to locate it under OSX
