Swan Dive seems broken

I'm dong exactly what the prompts say, and I've tried many variations, and I simply cannot get Swan Dive to work consistently. Out of at least 60 attempts, I got it to work exactly 4 times. In fact, from the ledge near the pools in north Paititi, I've tried over 40 times and never gotten it to work.

Note: I'm using keyboard and mouse. I've also seen a review that complained about this.

I totally agree. Played this game since Tuesday about 16 hours in and I cannot get it to do a swan dive. no way at all, with all variants.

I've always found them tricky ever since the old classic games. With this game, try this: hold down 'Forwards', tap 'Jump' and then immediatley tap 'Roll' (holding down the 'Forwards key throughout).

For keyboard and mouse, jump when right at the edge (just jump, not going forward) and when she's in the air, press forward and dive (W+C) at the same time. Just worked for me :)

Whoever decided on the default control scheme should be fired... while it might be fine on a controller it's disgustingly bad for people who have sense and use a mouse for better aim. Considering the quality of the other features and the use of new tech like DLSS and ray tracing it's kinda stupid to have put so little effort into a decent mouse/kb scheme.

omg. if you have a controller plugged in, just switch from keyboard to the controller for this one move. move forward with left stick, A, then B. Worked the first time. The keyboard timing is fouled up for this one move.
