Serpent's Heart Issue

If you wait until the fight on the other side of the bridge is complete at the end of the Serpent's Heart mission , it will go to a cut scene and you will be shot full of arrows and die. If you start crossing the bridge before the fight is complete and he throws off the priest, you will make it across and given you cut the ropes of the bridge on the other side, complete the mission.
This was not obvious as I lost this numerous times because I waited on the other side. Hope it helps others.

Thanks! I was really frustrated with this segment. It seems like a really poor design choice to insta kill a player without any warning.
