RTX still crashing on driver 572.6 - working with 576.02?
New Nvidia driver released 27th Feb but still crashing in game with everything maxed.

I do hope Nvidia sort this as rollback is not an option for me (50 series) and my old 3070 could not max this in ultrawide smoothly :(

Turn raytracing off or put on medium for SOTR
Raytracing is still a issue on high and ultra
Jedi Survivor has the same issue looks like JWE2 to so turned it off and games running fine again.
Nvidia must fix there issues

Just no turn off the one features I'm replaying it for is not an option.

Nvidia did respond on their driver feedback forum and say it's an application issue but they are looking at workarounds.

With 561.09 working perfectly fine everything else crash or freeze with rtx 3080
Now I play the game on video driver 572.83 and there are no crashes if I set ray tracing shadows on ultra setting. My video card is RTX 4090. Nvidia fixed crashes on video driver 572.83

Maybe on RTX 50 series the game working unstable. On my RTX 4090 the game now work without crash.
Thats what I get with a RTX 4090 with RTX on https://i.imgur.com/FC5U6jr.png
Seems game crashes when lighting new campfires reproducibly.
Setting RTX to off seems to fix the problem. Maybe this is the way it's meant to be played?

Update the game nvngx_dlss.dll from here https://github.com/NVIDIAGameWorks/Streamline/blob/main/bin/x64/nvngx_dlss.dll to fix game crash with new driver 572.83. Download nvngx_dlss.dll to the game folder and replace file.

turning down RT shadow quality to medium seems to have resolved it for now, as per the other discussion thread.
turn down or off raytracing is not fixing the problem. plus its a game feature that some people want to experience. Can the game be played without it it (as a workaround only)? sure, but it still robs those that want to experience it with raytracing.

can understand in some cases its the app/program. but sotr been out so long with no problems when updating drivers until the latest versions (572.*) so it would indicate to me thats it more the driver issue than game (regardless nvidia saying otherwise).
LOL, Nvidia has truly been dropping the ball hard these last few months. These recent drivers are an embarrassment. How does a 2.6 trillion dollar company screw this up is beyond me.

Dll solution is not worked with 572.83 and 4070Tİ S.
interesting. my mistake. game does run on my "old" 3060ti and 572.83. for 5 mins.
then crashes. analysis of the dump file says this is at fault
