Raytracing is still a issue on high and ultra
Jedi Survivor has the same issue looks like JWE2 to so turned it off and games running fine again.
Nvidia must fix there issues
Nvidia did respond on their driver feedback forum and say it's an application issue but they are looking at workarounds.
Maybe on RTX 50 series the game working unstable. On my RTX 4090 the game now work without crash.
Seems game crashes when lighting new campfires reproducibly.
Setting RTX to off seems to fix the problem. Maybe this is the way it's meant to be played?
Update the game nvngx_dlss.dll from here https://github.com/NVIDIAGameWorks/Streamline/blob/main/bin/x64/nvngx_dlss.dll to fix game crash with new driver 572.83. Download nvngx_dlss.dll to the game folder and replace file.
turning down RT shadow quality to medium seems to have resolved it for now, as per the other discussion thread.
can understand in some cases its the app/program. but sotr been out so long with no problems when updating drivers until the latest versions (572.*) so it would indicate to me thats it more the driver issue than game (regardless nvidia saying otherwise).
Dll solution is not worked with 572.83 and 4070Tİ S.
then crashes. analysis of the dump file says this is at fault
