Game won't launch

Just reinstalled to finish the game off. Use to work for me fine but now I click the play button and nothing happens.
Here is what I have tried:
Verify the files
Turning off my firewall
Running as admin and compatibility mode
Restarting my PC
Trying the different Betas
Updating Drivers
I have a feeling the problem lies with DirectX12 I think i did have an issue with it before but there was a launcher for the game where I could turn it off but now there is no launcher and I can't even get into the game settings not even a file in My documents for it.
Also My specs as GeForce Experience tells me
GeForce GTX 1080
Intel(R) Core(TM) i7-7700K CPU @ 4.20GHz
15.96 GB RAM
Also on Windows 10

You should try rolling your graphics drivers right back to the version when it did run properly. Some people seem to have problems after updating their drivers. Myself included.

That would mean rolling them back a year or so. My next test is deleting the whole game file then reinstalling worked for some people.

Update: Rolled back drivers to when the game last worked for me problem still occurs so thats not it

I have the same problem after reformating my PC it does not work on DirectX12 but DX10 is fine

I can't even change my game to DX10 no way for me to get into settings unless there is another way to change them outside of the game.

Yes, once you click start a launcher should appear where you can change your graphic settings. I think a windows update broke the game I am also unable to enable DLSS on my 3070RTX but can enable AMD FX which is really odd.

I use to get a launcher come up back when the game worked but now I don't. There isn't even a file in the game folder for a launcher for me just the SOTTR.exe

I fixed it, if it is your first time playing the game after downloading/formatting your PC just restart your PC and the settings will be corrected.

Just did a restart and still not working but I think my problem might be that I don't have the game launcher in the files which is weird probably other files missing too even though I have redownload the game a few times now and verified the files.

So I've fixed it. I renamed the shadow of the tomb raider file in My documents to Shadow of the tomb raider Backup and tried launching the game and now i have the launcher
