How to get the rope ascender ?

I just finished the game and I would like to do a side mission but I need the rope ascender. I looked at the invetory, I checked at the merchant's store. I have nothing. Anyone has an idea ?

I went there, the lady in the center of town of the hub, but she didn't have any. I checked for another merchant on the map. Couldn't find any. Could you be more specific ?

You have to complete the quest Takiy's Dice in Patiti. There's a little boy who claims someone stole his dice, that quest has you look for 5 people. One of those people in the merchant. The old woman with the guy playing drums next to her is the merchant, you can find her in Patiti (2 locations: original, and the place north of the main cave campfire where the people are farming something in shallow mud water), you can find her in the upper market area where you have to wear the disguise, and you can find her near the campfire in the Spanish church part where you climb down to rescue one of the field researchers.

I completed that mission a while ago and I still can't find the rope ascender 😢 But there's only one merchant in Paititi on my map. I looked at the area you mentioned on shallow waters where the farmers are but I didn't find any merchant there..

She doesn't show up on the map for some reason, so it's a bit of a blind search. I've 100% the game already so no need to go hunting for her anymore.

She doesn't show up on the map for some reason, so it's a bit of a blind search. I've 100% the game already so no need to go hunting for her anymore. :trpickaxe:
