Amazon Prime is making a movie and TV series

I have no problem with a new movie or TV series, but Amazon is breaking every IP that they can catch on their hands and even more Phoebe Waller-Bridge is going to be the writter. So she is famous for one TV serie Fleabag a low budget BBC production that came into success some years ago after that and in my opinion she totally destroyed "Han Solo", "James Bond". she's going to do the same with "Indiana Jones" and in few months with "Lara Croft". It is incredible that HBO let Druckman to produce his story in the way he wanted, but it is an example of how repect the source material makes money and this Amazon and Phoebe are the opposite.

Judging by recent history it'll be that, and racist as well like they did with the Resident Evil show. And Rings of Power. And the Halo show. And Star Wars. And Ghost Busters. And She Hulk..

These culture wars have nothing to do with real life, they are distraction (both far right and far left).Agendas are behind real life decade or even few decades. This is way to distract people from economic or systemic problems.
For example feminism is not ideology that shaping something... it's just acknowledging in weird way changes that happened few decades ago,when majority of females joined workforce. Ofc they always were workforce, but not majority of them, at least when we talking about married ones, and these percantages skyrocketed since 50's, 60's. (and married, not single females working day's job lead to other things like birth control laws, abortion laws etc.)
I feel like word "woke" is another false trope. Overall quality of many things including entertainment decreased. Racially diversed casts of actors in hollywood movies is not invention of last years, it was done first in 60's, 70's. it's nothing new tbh.
About this Amazon tv series, nobody force anyone to watch it. I'm not sure it can be any good, you need many things to make good tv series, like decent writing, cast of actors, budget etc. and I doubt it will happen.
People can't say what's wrong with some piece of cinema or game, then they whine about " woke".
For example last episode of Last of Us, was bad, bad idea, bad execution, bad acting, bad pace, it was just bad. Reason is bad is not: it was lesbian romance.
When things are good, few will notice that in 1st episode Joel's ethincity was changed to latino, his daughter is Afro-American, because episode is good quality and engaging.
For me it's nonsense to think about Amazon as some puppet masters trying to shape society, they are not able to :))

And problem with Lara is not something like: they will try to modify her race, ethnicty etc.
Problem with Lara as character is even changing her hair color could be crime against humanity. Lara Croft is iconic character, just like Batman or James Bond. Yeah you can change few things but it will be always variation of one character and going to far from original is not option.
