Then why you get a base game, it is a old key from the past when SOTTR was sold in seperate parts so people can choose to buy base or base+season or base+deluxe+seasonpass(=croft edition). All edition are now renamed to Definitive Edition which is confusing people.
But Eidos dont want to give a complete (=Croft edition) for free for people who only buy or own base game. For now Steam is only selling complete SOTTR but since there are old unused keys from the base game people keep buying them, thinking get the whole SOTTR for unbelievable low price, we get every week a topic about this. Look in search if you want.
Only solution is look for a upgrade key somewhere outside Steam since Steam doesnt sell seperate parts of SOTTR.
Steam actually does sell the DLC for the SOTTR. They are the Definitive Upgrade, Croft Edition Extras, and Digital Deluxe extras.
From the description of the Definitive Upgrade. It doesn't sound like it's worth getting. Not at that price anyways.
I thought Steam doesnt sell seperate parts of SOTTR but i am wrong then.
ABOUT
Shadow of the Tomb Raider: Definitive Edition will only include the base game. This does not include the Definitive Upgrade, Croft Edition Extras, or Deluxe Extras.
the only reason the humble bundle doesn't include the DLC is coz steam replaced the already existing store page with the Definitive Edition, and humble bundle technically has to call it that, even though it is not actually the definitive edition they are giving out.
completely your choice but the defintiive upgrade is $15 and adds the season pass to your game which is hours of gameplay & outfits & the option to disable costume restriction in the city of paititi
Whoever do have the base game BEFORE Definitive Edition came out DONT have all DLC after the free upgrade to the Definitive Edition.
Whoever is buying a old key (for example Humble store did in December) from the base game DONT get all DLC after the free upgrade to the Definitive Edition.
Whoever have a base game + seasonpass/croft edition before or after Definitive Edition came out will receive all DLC (everything) for free and dont need to buy whatever.
Please stop giving wrong information, you and the guy are confusing people with your bad information.
