Male protagonist

Just wanted to say Lara has been great and I’ve really enjoyed the older Tomb Raider games as well as the new trilogy. It has been a series I’ve spent countless hours playing and have had an absolute blast.

I think it’s time for change and I really would like to see how a male protagonist for the Tomb Raider series would progress the series further.

I’ve heard rumours in the next Tomb Raider we’ll see an older Lara, sure keep her but give her a break - make her a sidekick to a young male protagonist

Indiana Jones and the Emperor's Tomb is a great game from 2003, unfortunately underrated because many good games were made that year so it got unnoticed, but it's ahead its time. I also saw a trailer of Bethesda's new Indiana Jones game, but just a teaser, probably it'll come next year. And through RetroArch you can play Indiana Jones and the Staff of Kings (PSP is the best version by far, rare case where portable is better than console).

Less Uncharted is not Tomb Raider with male character, Tomb Raider 2013 is Uncharted with female character but Uncharted is not a Tomb Raider :)

What would be the point of that? Lara Croft is Tomb Raider, Tomb Raider is Lara Croft. And to be honest the Lara of this trilogy is not even close to the real one, I hope she'll be more bad ass in the next game.

If what was leaked is true, we will not even play as Lara but as one of her "students/soldiers/whatever" of her "academy/army/whatever", it prob will be anothet TR 2013 where the series get massively derailed again but now as open world char random creation with classes, maybe following Elden Ring trend much like what they tried to do with TR 2013 trying to follow the Uncharted trend.

I like Elden Ring but I want a Tomb Raider game to be a Tomb Raidet game, not Uncharted or Elden Ring or Breath of the Wild or whatever else.

FYI:
The original Tomb Raider was "Indiana Jones with t!ts."

That has not changed.

Tomb Raider always was and will always be Lara Croft, and Lara Croft will always be an Indiana Jones derivative. No matter how they try to update the hardware and mechanics (lasers, etc), it will always be based on Raiders of The Lost Ark and other I.J. movies.

I believe Pitfall for the Atari 2600 featured a male protagonist; Pitfall Harry. Go beat that one.

Correct. But Uncharted also doesn't exist without original female Tomb Raider. And none of it exists without Raiders of the Lost Ark.

You technically can't. Pitfall just keeps going on with repeating screens and you just go for a top score.
