3060ti 8GB and game ran fine with max settings RT ultra 1440p. Now ever since I got a 4070ti super 16GB, updated a few drivers. Game crashes with Direct X12.....wtf!
Most, if not all, mod's for Shadow of the Tomb Rider (SotTR) aren't compatible with Direct X2, period.
Thanks.
I happily stand corrected then.
After checking all the mods that I'm currently using for both Rise of the Tomb Raider (RotTR) and Shadow of the Tomb Raider (SotTR) are Direct X12 compatible and thus tried to start using it, even if albeit it sometimes causes some viewing glitches effects in one of those 2 games. Although most likely my older than 5 years old laptop rig is in some regards to blame for those effects due to having aged and thus its efficiency is clearly lower than when I got it.
My rtx 5080 (lucky to get early stock at msrp) crashes to desktop without info on the bench, mark when it switches to the second scene. Didnt happen on the rtx 3080. :-/
nvidia 572.42 updated
566.36 is still the best for performance. No issues
It works fine if you turn off ray traced shadow quality and shadow quality.
