why only Arabic or English are available in copies of game "Shadow of the Tomb Raider" purchased in Arabic countries?

why this discrimination!!!?

still waiting for equality to all players from all countries.
add all languages to all players who buy this game.

There is no discrimination on the dev's part, only on your part.
You bought a copy of Shadow from an Arabic country and you want to know why it's only in Arabic and English.

i contacted support for the game, here are the last two emails :

Dear Mohamed,
Thank you for contacting the Square Enix Support Centre.
Only Arabic or English are available in copies of the game purchased in Arabic countries
A warning notice is displayed on Steam mentioning that "the game will only support Arabic and English (text and VO) language".

i can't tell you the reason why. might be a business decision, i do not think it has anything to do with politics. also there are embargos for some countries as you might know.

now i guess you want to play in french. i can understand because i play in different languages all the time but maybe i'll try arabic next time :)

in fact back in the days games had one regional language only.

I just want the game interface to be in French, i can't play this game with an English or Arabic interface.

well yes these are the terms you agreed to . back in the days a physical copy of a game had one language only .

So the game has twelve languages but they have made a specific choice to remove ten of them from Arabic countries?

There may be a reason but at first glance that seems idiotic. On DVDs it was sometimes done due to space restrictions but no such excuse for digital downloads.

Elyamani Mohamed, in your experience, is it normal for a game to remove language options or is Shadow unusual in that respect?
