sub 60 fps dips at 1080p with everything maxed out.
But I can play control at a steady 80-90 fps with everything (including RT) maxed out at the same resolution.
An i7 6700k, so not a bad CPU by any stretch, but also not top of the line
Yeah, the benchmark definitely says "0% GPU Bound". Not quite sure how to get my gpu to do the work that it should just... Do automatically. lol
Tried DLSS, it did literally nothing.
16 GB of RAM running at 3200 MHz through bios XMP.
This is the only game I've had an issue with.
Just because "other demanding games" don't have this problem, doesn't mean Shadow is just like them.
I've played all 3 games since inception and not once have they been less demanding. With each game, they got more demanding.
Not to insult your rig, but try lowering some of your "super high" settings to see if that will help you.
Oh I ran the other 2 fine with lesser hardware.
With 1070ti I have 80-100fps @1080 while exploring alone and ~30-40 in towns.
Yeah it's especially egregious right now in the forest after the plane crash. Weird.
Here's my benchmark at 1440p: https://puu.sh/GSVbs/53cae970b7.png
